LCPO (France) – Hadziioannou's research group >> Polymers for Organic Electronics and Photovoltaics

About Georges Hadziioannou’s research group

Advanced functional materials for emerging technologies in information, communication and energy, is an industrial "Chair of excellency"  hosted by the Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques (Pessac-France) and funded by  :

The  group is led by Georges Hadziioannou and is interested in Polymers for Organic Electronics and Photovoltaics.

The group aims at advancing the fundamental knowledge in polymer science and engineering beyond the current state of the art; more specifically the design and synthesis—through sustainable polymer chemistry methodologies—of new functional polymers with self-assembling and/or templating properties towards nanostructured materials and devices using simple processing methods. The ultimate goal  is to design new Functional Polymer Materials and Processes for the future Information and Communication and Energy Technologies as well as to train highly skilled people who will be joining either the academia or the traditional and high technology industries in order to contribute at the creation of new high tech industrial sectors.
