Education and experience

  • 2019-present Postdoc Université de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France
    Thin films adhered on substrates can undergo instabilities such as delamination, buckling and cracks, when they are under mismatched stress or strain. Such phenomena on one side might limit the performance and lifespan of electronic devices, but on the other side they can be harnessed for surface patterning. Our aim here is to understand PEDOT:polyelectrolytes film instabilities induced by swelling due to solvents. Both experimental and theoretical analysis are used.
  • 2015-2019 Ph.D. Ecole Centrale de Marseille/Université Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble, France
    The project aims at developing a recipe of self-assembly microcapsules by polyelectrolytes and characterization of their membrane. Wrinkling and folding of such capsules are investigated when they are deformed in an extensional flow. In extremely large deformation, capsules breakup modes are also studied.
