After completing her PhD at the University of Strasbourg on the development of pro-antibiotic nanoemulsions to combat bacterial lung infections, Carla Faivre began a postdoctoral position under the supervision of Chloé Grazon and Morgane Rosendale. Her current work focuses on the development of mechanosensitive fluorescent nanoparticles to probe forces within the extracellular space of multicellular assemblies. This ANR-funded project brings together complementary expertise from two laboratories: the Laboratory of Organic Polymer Chemistry (LCPO, team 3: Polymer Self-Assembly & Life Sciences) and the Interdisciplinary Institute of Neuroscience (IINS, Spatio-temporal and Mechanical Control of Motile Structures team).
